# ClassicsLens Beta — Student Materials

## Brief Introduction (for Oliver to share with students)

**ClassicsLens** is a reading tool that turns dictionary hunting into a click. Every day, you get a short passage in Latin or Greek — Caesar, Cicero, Homer, and others. Need a word? Click it. Instantly, you see the definition, how it's built (grammar), and its principal parts. No switching tabs, no slow lookups. Just read, click, and keep going.

During this beta (free testing phase), you'll help us find bugs and improve the tool. Your feedback makes it better.

---

## How to Use ClassicsLens

1. **Open a passage.** You'll see a daily selection ready to read.

2. **Click any word** you want to understand. A popup appears with:
   - The word's dictionary form (headword)
   - Definition
   - Grammar breakdown (case, tense, person, etc.)
   - Principal parts (for verbs)

3. **Save words you want to remember.** Click the save icon and the word goes into your vocabulary deck for review later.

4. **Read at your pace.** There's no timer, no pressure. Just keep clicking and reading.
